Supreme "ISHQ"

For my Urdu readers...

Tujhsey ishq kiya,
Ye jurrat ki.
Tujh ko patay hi...
Apnay app ko kho diya.
Jo paya phir khud ko mainay,
To tujhe kho diya.
Na hoti mai...
To tu hota...
Na hoti mai...
To ishq hota.
Gar ishq, ISHQ hota...
Na tu hota,
Na mai hoti,
Bas ISHQ hota...
tu ISHQ hota
mai ISHQ hoti
Aur kuch na hota
sirf ISHQ hota

Kuch paya, kuch khoya
Kuch paa kar khoya
Kuch kho kar paya
Ishq paya
Phir kho diya
Khud ko paya
Phir kho diya
Khash ishq na hota
Woh nah hoti
Mein nah hota
Hum nah hotey
Par ... gar ishq na hota
To mein na hota
Yeh mehfil na hoti
Gar mein na hota
Phir tum kaisey hoti
Yeh nazare na hotey
Tumhari chandni na hoti
Gar tumhari chandni na hoti
Mairey chand ke pehlu mein
Yay sitare na hote
To phir bolo
aisa huwa, kaisa huwa
khoob huwa, jaisa huwa.
Gar mein na hota
Gar tum na hoti
Sirf ishq hota
Par hum na hotey
To ishq mein kon hota
...

It is relation of give and take but sometimes for some people, it is just take, take and take.
You can define any relation but love.
Its a complex phenomena.
Like illusions, you can perceive it as embellishments but the very next moment you'll recognize as thorns.

Heheh ...

Actually can't argue with that because I really do believe in ishq ... as an essence of life, something bigger than hum, tum, woh, yay, because it doesn't need physical presence for its sustenance, it's an ether that flows through this world, through life. I believe life gives everyone a tremendous propensity to tap into the ebb and flow of ishq, if so they choose, and it grows even more if you share it in love with your beloved. It's wild, uncontrollable, it comes and goes as it wills. The more you resist, the more it consumes you, but if you make peace with it, it leads you into a state of blissful mellowness ...

I digress ...
