In the wee hours of the night
From sleep I did take flight
A phone call
Your voice...
A longing
Did cease me
I could not return
To the blissful abode
From whence
In the foggy land
Of gossamer threads
Did I disengage
To stand awhile
With you
"You are beautiful..."
You did say...
"...beautiful naked..."
(You are beautiful)
Thought I...
When shall I see you
Tomorrow?
Nay...
The day after?
Nay...
The moon calls he said
The mating call
Is nigh'
The deer roam the forest
The wild calls that night
I shall miss you then, said I
The musk deer...
Longing for it's mate
The scent of musk
The hallmark of the elite
Of royalty
Of saints
Spiritual
Sensual
Memorable
You
And I...
I shall await
The return
Of the gossamer threads
Of dreamland
Spun
Delicately
Around
With tendrils
Enticing
Beguiling
The scent
Of you
Musky
And warm
Held in the night
Loved in the night
In your arms
Tight
The night
Of the musk deer...

thanks mates...
hasan...
yeah... victorian english is very pleasurable in it's usage... I am a verbage glutton!
okay here is what it means
"late one night... from sleep she was awakened by a phone call from her lover...
his voice made her long for him...
and she was drawn out from the delicate land of slumber... it's threads slowly letting go as they talked longer until at last she was fully awake and she heard him say to her...
"you are beautiful....beautiful naked..." this a reference to a night of passionate lovemaking and he says it to remind her of that night and their passion...he said those words to her in the moments of afterglow that night...
(you are beautiful)
she thinks those words to herself because just before he said them to her that night she had been looking at him and thinking them in refernece to him...
he asks her when he will see her again, the memory of their lovemaking forefront in their minds, the desire for the other at its peak
tomorrow? he asks...
she cannot
she says no... but wanting to see him, to have him to hold him...
she asks if it can be the day after...
he says no...
because
it is close to the full moon...
the deer are mating...
it is the peak season for hunting and hunter that he is...wild man that he is...
the wilderness calls...
and he must answer
she understands his need
his call of the wild
it resonates with her
his desire for the freedom of the wilderness
she will let him go
not hold him back
he is her wild man
and he must be wild...
at the full moon time
he must hunt
he is her wild man
and his wildness excites
i shall miss you then she states
in understanding and lets him go
the musk deer is known to wander in search of the smell of musk that is secreted from it's own glands hoping to find the mate it thinks is calling... never aware that what it is drwn to is it's own scent...
what it craves is it's own self
what the wildness is
is its own self
long has the deer been sought for it's musk and hunted for its musk by roylty who have wanted it for themseves...
she is like the musk deer
wild free confused in its search for what it never realizes is her has been her all along... she is complete... alone and complete..... in her ownself....
her contentment comes not from another but from herself....
long and often has she been sought after by those who would seek to conquer her, like the musk deer, many have sought to possess her and cage her, make a trophy of her... own her....
yet she desires only to be free
to choose who shall have her musk
the musk that is the memory of her wild lover who is not here with her tonight because he is off hunting the deer
and so he is gone and she must wait for sleep to come to her again
to envelope her in its embrace
sleep is enticing
beguiling and tempting
elusive
like the scent of her own musk
which she seeks for in vain
hoping to find its owner
yet she never willbecause she never will know that se is the owner of the musk
and so she is content to let the musk
be the memory of her chosen lover
and she is content because she chooses to let it be him
who will hold her
who will make love to her
she chooses to let the wild man be her fantasy,
be the one to hold her in his arms tight
after the consummation of the night
the night she chooses to let him be her musk deer
the one she searches for...
for this night he is the one....
and in that contentment that
for THIS night she has found him
she can fall asleep
in bliss....
hasan..
