ghuraiz karti huwa ki lehron peh haath rakhna.
Mein khushbo-on mein tumhein miloon ga.
Mujhe ghulabon ki patiyon mein talash karna.
Mein aos-e-qatra ke ai-non mein tumhein miloon ga.
Agar sitaron mein, aos-e-khusboo-on meinna pao mujhe ko,
to apne qadmon mein dekh lena.
Mein gird hoti musafaton mein tumhein miloon ga.
Kaheen pe roshan chiragh dekho to jaan lena
keh har patange ke sath mein bhi sulag chuka hoon.
Tum apne hathon se in patangon ki khakh darya mein dal dena
mein khakh ban kar samundar mein safar karoon ga.
Kisi na dekhe huwe jazeere peruk ke tumhein sadaein doon ga.

The first time I heard this poem was in Abrar-ul-Haq's first album.. Abrar sang it beautifully and i thought it was one of the best in the album but I was too young to understand it then..unfortunately it has started to make a lot of sense now

well it was like this...
i was browsing a friends profile on FB and he had written this note so the reply jumped into my head and I jotted it down and then googled A.I Amjad and thought... Holy Crap! That's like a famous poet.... I like what I had written so I kept it.

The way I look at it, the writing has a life all its own... it already exists... out there... somewhere... all iI do is uncover it or find it. It just happens. It IS....
I am merely the instrument. This one took less than ten minutes... the time was all i the typing... i type with two fingers!
