Acceptance is a game of Solitaire

So here's to the beginning
Of the actual healing
Farewell to the anxiety
Of hiding from the facts
Here's to the knowledge
That hurt is still intact

I have a way of self defeating
I know it far too well
Even when I know better
I still don't know at all

I knew how it would go

I did it still
