Lose it all
In a heartbeat
Over and over again
In the end you always find your way
The road is rough
But you are tough enough
And the more you lose in life
The deeper you will get to know yourself
It breaks
It aches
Everyday
And yet
There is a peace also
I had forgotten
I had lost a part of me
Forgotten how strong I am
And every little bit of me that breaks
And aches
Gives me back pieces of me
Through my tears
I see
Through the pain
I grow
I relearn me
...
I am a novice
Soon I shall undertake my pilgrimage
And walk alone
The road to Santiago
