i pondered the meaning of love again today and i realized as i sat completely still in love, that love is what YOU give. it is a gift given freely. i have been lost lately because i got caught up in lies and control. i was lied to, and i was being controlled and i was controlling or trying to and that is not what love is... to me-
To me:
love is freedom
love is trust
love is acceptance
love is enjoyment
love is joyous not a burden
love is a journey not a destination
love is simply loving with no expectation for return
and so i am content today
in simply loving

glad you liked the song. I see that you identify what it is you do that makes you hurt. The problem is often right in front of us but we don't want to face it.
Remember when love made you strong. Hold on to that feeling. Create it within yourself. Perpetuate it through new venues of love and sharing.
The soul has a need for loving and when the ego seeks retribution for harm done, it chokes and deprives the soul of what it needs to give, and what it needs to learn through reciprocation. Let your soul breathe freely.

you cant be in love with somebody who has ditched you and forgive them... you only hide the hurt... you only pretend to be happy for them... the only time you truly are is when you are over the whole love... or your love was never true to begin with !
comon Sami... :) the gal knows it, i did not say "Bet It" just like that. 14 years is not that long a time but still it is some time. You never forget .... A smile, a word, a glimps a laughter, similar pair of eyes just remind you of her and you again fall for them. Hey whom u love they dont have to b forgiven they are forgiven by default....may b sometimes nature intervenes (Quite Abstract, dont bothrer)
