SHAHI....

Gustakhi ma'af
Meray AQA...
ISHQ tera haq hai
Tu SHAH hai
Tu hai awwal
Tu hi akhir...

Arzoo tu hai
Justujuu tu hai
Tu HAQ hai
Tu SHAH hai

Yeh shahi meri
Teri SHAHI hai
Woh shahi uski
Teri SHAHI hai

Woh Shah jo hai
Main Shah jo hun
Kuch bhi to nahin
Na wo hai, Na main hun

Sirf TU hai
Sirf SHAH hai
Wo ISHQ hai
Main ISHQ hun

ISHQ tera HAQ hai
ISHQ tu hai
SHAHI tu hai
SHAH tu hai

Yeh ishq
Us ka
Aur mera
ISHQ hi to hai

Shahe naz,
The beauty of this poem is the delicate use of capitalization. You have created an entirely new literary phenomenon in language fusion by introducing the concept of English capitalization to Urdu poetry.
Lucky are those who find true ishq in this world. Nothing else really matters after that. Truly ishq becomes a form of ISHQ.

Reading "SHAHI", I am reminded of the awesome power of the Lord God Almighty... Reminded of a great hymn that people sing in Churches, Choirs, I hope Mosques too... It goes like this:

"O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art."

Really, God is the ONLY and SUPREME power in every aspect of life and death and ultimately, the after-life.

My interpretation of "SHAHI" might be a little different from what most people would think it should be... But this is how I think.

Taunted Mansion!

@shahnaz

Since you're curious about my "Taunted Mansion", I thought maybe you should know what they say, "Curiosity killed the cat." Hehe :P

Ignore what I said earlier... You ain't a cat, and I know that people like you can't be killed. You love people, life and hence, "O Death! Where is thou sting?"

Taunted Mansion is the name of my blog... (Stupid statement :P Of course its the name of my blog. Why else would you ask me?) Anyway, I haven't started blogging on it. I hope I'll start soon, and I'll be as honored as you are that you would read my posts. But that's in the future...

Coming to the name I chose, well, I believe sometimes the way us humans live life is a big mockery of the purpose that God intended for us to embrace by living this life. I am not blaming anyone in this! I am equally responsible for this 'situation' if you might wanna call it. But non the less, God wanted man to live by "Faith, Love and Peace". While most of the people, well they follow their self-created mantra of "Sex, Drugs & Violence". Not everyone is like that. But somehow, somewhere, we do promote the negativity in our lives, directly or in-directly by our actions.

The name suggest God's beautiful Mansion that He bestowed upon us in the form of this life, but we always, taunt, mock and ruin it. May it be our own life or the life of others.
